HitHorizons and the GDPR

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the “GDPR”) has been in force since 25 May 2018. The GDPR has introduced new rules for the processing of personal data of natural persons.

The GDPR will not fundamentally affect our services because we work mainly with data concerning legal entities. Our goal is to increase transparency and facilitate easy and fast verification of business partners. We enable automatic loading of data into contracts and invoices to simplify administrative processes.

As part of this, however, some personal data of natural persons, especially sole traders and self- employed persons, are also processed. However, such processing of personal data has its limits and rules. Therefore, we must carefully examine the benefits that HitHorizons brings to its users, as well as the adverse privacy practices that may be felt by those whose personal data are being processed.

We approach the protection of personal data of natural persons responsibly and with due diligence. We have prepared subpages for you which deal with this topic in more detail:
